There are 3 key things we want to see from mini buggy
dealers when we decide how we rate them.
-
Customer Service
-
Technical Support
-
After Sale Service & Support
Good customer service during and after a
sale are the most important factor we use to rate mini buggy dealers. The
reason for this is simple, we want new buggy owners to buy machines that fit
their needs and provide the best possible safety for the riders.
Trying to sell a 300cc buggy to a family for a 9 yr old child is one nutty
example among many we've heard about and it is completely irresponsible for
any company to try and pull off stuff like this.
Tech Support with highly qualified personal
that fully understand the products they sell. A common problem with
some of the larger dealers and /or Box Stores is their failure to understand
technical problems with their products. Many of them will just make an
educated guess of what the problem might be and sell more parts to their
customer until they get the right one. This is great for the dealer
but does a real number on the buggy owners bank account.
Product quality control before and after
sale. Quality control covers everything from how the mini buggy
dealers receives and inspects their product and how they choose to ship the
product and protect the customer when the product arrives at their home.
Price Control is another area we look at
but it is a little tricky. The profit margin on mini buggies is small
and dealers have very limited room to move if they want to make any money.
large mini buggy dealers and box stores buy large amounts of buggies at one
time so they have a little more room on pricing. However this puts them in a
situation that quality control becomes a problem and clearing inventory
becomes more of a priority then customer service. There are
other companies that can run a big operation and still remember their
customers are important and we will do our best to point out these
companies. Just remember you get what you pay for. If you pay
less for the buggy you may not get the tech support you need and you might
get a defective buggy that the dealer won't help fix unless you put up more
money, so shop carefully and do your home work.
Rating Under Review is a term we use when
current data cannot be 100% confirmed. When you see this term it does not
mean a dealer is good or bad, it just means we are still learning about them
and following up on all the information we have on them. If you would
like BuggyNuts.com to review a company, let us know and we'll do our best to
find out what we can.
