Our little world on the BuggyNews forum has it's own type of
celebrities. No, they're not movie st ars or rock stars. They're just great
people that enjoy mini buggy motorsports and always look out for the other
guy or gal that needs help.
When you join a buggy rally with these people you'll
find super buggynuts like Karl, aka Funnyman. He doesn't
always have the best of luck with his buggies. However he does have the
best BBQ at the national rally. We cal it hamburger heaven.
Karl is just one of many great people in the mini buggy
world. His efforts have
done
wonders for the national rally, giving everyone from different parts of
the country the best opportunity to meet face to face. Since our
national rally is really not organized with strict events, many people are
scattered all over the trails and the only time we can all meet is at
the BBQ.

Our BBQ's are great, but we can't forget the group trail rides with 20 or
more buggies. A parade of little monster machines blazing through the
woods, moms, dads and the kids all riding together and everyone watching
out for each other.
It would be nice if nothing ever went wrong with a
buggy, but I think it would get kind of boring after a while. The
inevitable breakdown or stuck buggy will always catch up with you
somewhere along the trails. Working through these problems is part of the
fun. Some people don't believe the stories which is why we video
tape so much of our events.
The
excitement of repairing a seemingly destroyed buggy in one afternoon is a
total blast. Our community is like an army of motorheads with wrenchs
and welders. If we can't fix it on the trail we put it back together
with Band-Aids and load straps until we get it back to camp.
That's where you'll find the real talents of buggynuts in action.
People like Digger rebuilding a Yerfdogs front end from scratch, or
Krusekontrol cooking a destroyed control arm in a camp fire and making it
look as good as new, well almost new if you don't count all the burnt
powder coating and hammer marks. The fun and excitement goes on all week long and never
seems to stop. Buggy events or any kind of buggy rally change the way people
think about motorsports. The safety factor is always on everyone's mind
when riding. We know the re
is never a zero risk environment no matter what we do. Which is why
we recognize the need to use our helmets and safety belts.
If
your ever in a roll over you'll know why we take this so serious.
There are so many things going on in the mini buggy
world. New manufactures getting into the
sport while older companies go out of business. New products, good
and bad entering the market at a record pace. OHV restrictions growing and
new places for riding are getting harder to find. It's hard to keep track of it all, but we think we're
doing a pretty good job. Organizations like the
Mini Buggy Riding Association (MBRA) and others are helping us keep on
top of it all. We also have a handful of
trusted mini buggy dealers that help us avoid the scammers out
there and keep us supplied with quality parts and great service for our
buggies.
All of this is going on right now, everyday on the forums and social
networks around the country. So come and join with us and experience the
new motorsport that is made for the family. Hope to see
you on the boards
